Key Aims

ABAPSTAS's key aims are:

• to support our members, particularly during their student and working lives
• to campaign and be a strong voice on behalf of our members
• to influence the decision makers and service providers
• to provide ways for our members to share  experiences and give each other support
• to ensure all our members can play a full role in  ABAPSTAS> without facing unnecessary or unfair  barriers
• to generate debate within our membership and  more widely on matters concerning the rights of  disabled people
• to work with others, to encourage good practice on  the part of educational bodies and employers.
